Comfort Control Corp. was founded in 1973 by our current President Russell Cox. We are still privately owned. We are not a subsidiary of one of the large consolidators. We have been installing, servicing and maintaining heating and air conditioning systems in the Los Angeles area for over 36 years. Comfort Control Corp. is one of only a handful of heating and air conditioning contractors in the Los Angeles area to be certified and approved by " The League of California Homeowners". All contractors who apply for approval must submit to a thorough background investigation and meet certain criteria. He or she must have a valid contractors license with no outstanding complaints or litigation with the Contractors State License Board (CSLB). They must also have workers compensation and general liability insurance in place for at least $1,000,000. Also, they must have good business credit as verified by the Building Industry Credit Association and TRW, (now Experian). They must provide satisfactory customer references, including material suppliers. They also must submit to a background check for liens, civil litigation, bankruptcy and defaults. They must agree to abide by The League's Code of Ethics. Of the hundred of contractors who have applied for approval, 2 out of 3 did not make the grade.
Manufacturer recommendations, federal laws and local building codes are only our minimum standards. We provide ongoing education for our installation personnel to ensure that they will be using the most modern techniques and the highest quality materials available. We do this in order to provide you with the greatest energy-efficiency, comfort, and reliability. Five lead installers have been with our company for an average of nine years. They are all highly experienced, well trained, and trust worthy.
We receive 90% of our business from repeat customers and referrals because our main focus is always on customer satisfaction. We treat every one of our customers with dignity and respect and think of them as family.

Our Estimators have over 70 years of combined experience in the industry. They will always provide friendly professional service and free estimates with an 'absolutely no pressure' approach. We conduct a thorough inspection of each home and take detailed notes of all conditions that affect load requirements. We then perform computerized load calculations to precisely determine the correct size of equipment. We ask questions to identify your specific needs and concerns, listen to you answers, and then design a custom comfort system that will best serve you. And we do this all at a fair and competitive price.
The Customer's Home
The customer's home is always treated with the utmost care. We take extra measures to protect all of the areas where we will be working. Drop cloths are used to protect the flooring. We use floor coverings in all work areas. We will wear surgical booties to cover work boots when needed. Special techniques are used to isolate and collect dust at the source to keep the interior of the home clean and to protect sensitive electronic equipment, furniture, carpet, etc. All work areas are cleaned, vacuumed, and put back to there original condition at the end of each day. We are always conscious of maintaining a safe working environment for ourselves and your family. We are sensitive to the special needs of homes with small children and pets.
We are indoor air quality (IAQ) experts capable of providing not only comfortable temperatures but also a variety of options for air filtration, air purification and humidification.
We are licensed and fully insured, with $1,000,000 coverage for general liability and worker's compensation.
Comfort Control provides a one year total responsibility warranty on all new installations that that cover all new equipment, parts, materials and labor, in addition to manufacturer's warranty. We warranty our ducting systems, condensation elimination systems, all electrical wiring and refrigerant lines for five years. Extended parts, or parts and labor, warranties are available for a small additional charge.
We have factory trained radio dispatched service technicians working each day along with vans fully stocked with original equipment replacement parts. As a Comfort Control customer you will receive priority service should you ever require a repair. Any warranty work will be performed at no cost to you whatsoever.
