We provide complete HVAC system installation. We can design and install
a completely new system, or replace an existing system. Here are some
of the steps we take to ensure a long lasting, efficient, quiet, comfortable system.
Load calculations are performed to correctly determine the size and capacity
of both the furnace and the air conditioner.
The equipment type and efficiency are chosen based on the customers’
needs and desires.
Duct sizing calculations are performed to determine the proper size duct
and grille to each room/zone of the home.
A mechanical plan is prepared showing the preliminary equipment locations,
duct routing, duct sizing, grille locations, grille sizes, thermostat
The plans can then be reviewed and approved, or changes can be made by
the homeowner. When a final system design is determined, the installation
The installation begins by carefully laying out drop-clothes and protective
plastic as needed throughout the home to ensure your home stays perfectly clean.
The grilles are carefully “cut-in” to the walls, floors, or ceilings.
The furnace and cooling are installed in the attic, closet, crawlspace,
Ducting is connected between the furnace locations and each individual
supply outlet register and return intake grille.
The ducting is then sealed per current C.E.C. guidelines, insulated per
code, and strapped in position.
A preliminary pressure test can then be performed on the duct system and
air moving components.
After the extremely low air leakage figure is verified, an independent
HERS rater can be called in to perform a second test. The required “Low
Leakage” figure is verified and documented, and turned over to the
Building and Safety office within your jurisdiction.
